Tiara is an expert at making her brides look and feel gorgeous on their wedding day. From a cinematography perspective, Tiara’s makeup treatments look model-ready but natural enough so the bride doesn’t look overdone. Hair looks naturally beautiful all day long without looking “prom-princess” stiff. Tiara has an uncanny ability to highlight the bride’s best features which makes our job of creating a beautiful wedding movie even easier! There is a reason that Tiara Whitney has won the Seattle Bride Best Of award so often. Quite simply she is the best. I have worked with Tiara for years. Almost inevitably whenever I am photographing some of the most exciting and grand weddings that I do, I will find Tiara in the Bride’s room cheerfully and expertly applying her art. And indeed it is an art. Beyond Tiara’s extraordinary skills as a make up artist and her years of experience, is her amazing ability to befriend her clients as she puts them at ease with her easy going, ‘girl talk’ conversations. I have seen many a time, Tiara’s amazing ability to calm excited, anxious, jittery brides, moments before they walk down the aisle. And of course all of her brides look extraordinary…their make-up perfect, their natural beauty shining through. As a photographer I love Tiara’s natural style. It is not easy to find a balance between a natural look that will look great for the wedding and one that also photographs beautifully. Tiara understands both worlds and easily finds a harmony between them. As a make up artist, she is without peer. She is the only artist I ever recommend when I need my clients looking their stunning best whether it be a portrait session or on their wedding day.
